MHKDesigner Inspiration: Tasha

Hi everyone, Tasha here with my April designer project for MHKDesigns digital stamps and papers. For my project, I created a Clean & Simple card using the Get Well Flowers digital stamp set.

To create this card, I printed one of the floral images out in purple and layered clear glitter over it. I colored the petals with light pink and purple markers to add more detail.
Layers of metallic purple and purple glitter paper were used to coordinate with the flower color and add shimmer. I really enjoyed working with various shades of one color!

The sentiment selected was "Get Well Soon" and it was printed in a dark purple font color. I cut the ends to create a banner and layered it across the printed image with foam tape.

Lastly, I added two sizes of pearl embellishments and created a base from textured pastel purple paper to complete the design.

I hope you enjoyed this card and be sure to check out the MHKDesigns Blog for more inspiration!

April Release: Funky Flowers

Hello, friends!  Welcome to the April 2017 Release for the MHKDesigns Etsy Shop!  I have 5 fabulous  new sets to share this month and they cover MANY occasions!  I just know you will LOVE all the creations that my team and I have to share, as well!  Today's set is called...

And here is my card set~

Once again, I created my watercolor and stencil effect using Photoshop. Getting the color variations was super simple once I had the card laid out the way I wanted--I just played around with the hue settings! I added some shine with liquid pearls and glitter gel pen, as well as highlighted part of the sentiment with neon gel pen. A few enamel chevrons were added as a final touch. Hope you love these! I'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments below! :)

MHKDesigner Inspiration - Monica

Hi everyone and welcome to my Designer inspiration for the month of April.

Today I am sharing with you an image from one of the Masculine sections over at MHKDesigns called Dear Dad. There are several great images and sentiments in this set that work great for Father's Day.

It is available over at the MHKDesigns Etsy shop along with many other wonderful sets.

I wanted to go with a Retro grunge feel to this card. After I colored in the images, I used a stitch die cut to frame my image. I then stamped the a few grungy dots on various parts of the card.

I adhered the framed image to some polka dot paper and added some washi tape. I Outlined the washi tape using a distress crayon - Black Soot.

Thanks for stopping by!

Hello friends!

It's my turn to share a Designer Inspiration post for MHKDesigns!  I decided to work with the stamp set called "Sea Creatures".

Sea Creatures Digital Stamp Set

This is what I created:

All I had to do is watercolor this little birdy and added a little bit of shimmer!

I hope you love it! :)

See you next time!
